Prophet Isaac Ofosuhene Gyimah, Founder and Leader of Captain Jesus Prayer House, has praised Ghana’s 1992 Constitution, stating it has served the country well.
Speaking to Ahotor News, he attributed the country’s peace and stability to the constitution, saying it’s the reason no one can easily take over the country by force.
According to Prophet Gyimah, the constitution has brought numerous benefits, including maintaining national stability and preventing potential coups.
He emphasized that without this constitution, Ghana’s situation could be different, highlighting the importance of the document in ensuring the country’s progress.
Rather than suggesting specific areas for review, Prophet Gyimah advocates for tightening laws against corruption to deter individuals from engaging in such activities.
He believes this would set a precedent for others and promote accountability.
The 1992 Constitution has been in place for over three decades, guiding Ghana’s governance and democratic processes. It establishes the structure of the government, protects fundamental human rights, and promotes national unity.
Ghana’s Constitution has undergone several reviews and amendments since its inception, with ongoing discussions about potential reforms to address emerging issues and improve governance.
