Captain Barron Foundation, an NGO in the United Kingdom donated Sports Kits to selected organizations in the disabled community on 25th October, 2024.
In a wonderful ceremony held at Dzorwulu Special School, each beneficiary expressed satisfaction for the kind gesture. They believe this act will be a blessing to their organizations due to existing challenges. A Call of appreciation was rendered to the Foundation as well.
Mr. Anaman, representative of Captain Baron Foundation indicated that Premier League side Brentford Football Club made provisions for all sports kits. When quizzed on their expectation in the next two or three years in assisting persons with disability, Mr. Anaman had this to say.
“This is a start, I believe more will be done in future. The next one might be three months time. It depends, the two or three years might not even reach but like i said earlier on this is a only step”
Up and Shine, Special Olympics Ghana, Ghana Amputee Football, Ayawaso Physically Challenged Club, Ghana Deaf Football Association and Ghana Blind Soccer Foundation were beneficiares.
Captain Barron Foundation is an NGO based in United Kingdom. Their core mandate is to empower persons with disability by way of donation.
