The Member of Parliament for the Buem Constituency, Kofi Adams, has strongly criticized The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) regarding its proposed procurement of iPad keyboards for its Board of Directors.
The management of COCOBOD has faced considerable criticism after a memo from the Board’s Information Systems Department surfaced, seeking approval for the purchase of iPad keyboards for the agency’s Board of Directors.
In response to the backlash, COCOBOD released a statement on Monday, April 1, explaining that the initiative aims to improve productivity and foster collaboration among board members.
During an interview on Ahotor 92.3 FM, Hon. Kofi Adams lambasted COCOBOD’s management, accusing them of misusing the company’s funds. He expressed the belief that such expenditures by COCOBOD have contributed to the organization’s challenges.
