Burna Boy and Travis Scott to Co-Headline Brazil’s Townline Festival

Afro-fusion superstar Burna Boy will join forces with American rap titan Travis Scott as co-headliners at this year’s Townline Festival in Brazil, adding yet another major international performance to his growing list of achievements.

Known for his electrifying stage presence and genre-blending sound, Burna Boy is set to deliver a show-stopping set alongside other global stars, including Don Toliver and Brazilian rapper Filipe Ret.

This 2025 performance marks another high-profile milestone for the Grammy-winning artist. Earlier this year, Burna Boy became the first African artist to headline Paris’ Stade de France and to sell out the Co-op Live Arena, the largest indoor venue in the UK.

As anticipation builds for his upcoming eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness, Burna Boy has been releasing new music that pushes genre boundaries. His latest single, Tatata, a collaboration with Travis Scott, blends Brazilian funk rhythms with Nigerian pidgin and pop-rap, showcasing his signature Afro-fusion style. The track also contains provocative references, including a nod to Equatorial Guinea’s controversial public figure, Baltasar Engonga.

Fans are eagerly hoping to see Burna Boy and Travis Scott perform Tatata live at Townline Fest, where their joint appearance promises to be one of the event’s biggest highlights.

Tatata follows the release of the reggae-infused Sweet Love and the viral hit Bundle By Bundle, which has already garnered over 24 million Spotify streams and 8.5 million YouTube views.

As Burna Boy continues to redefine what it means to be a global pop icon from Africa, his headlining slot at Townline Festival cements his position at the forefront of the international music scene.
