Brazilian Neymar injured again – Hilal medical team confirmed

Hilal have confirmed that Neymar has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

Neymar will now undergo surgery after suffering a meniscus tear in his left knee.

“The medical tests Neymar underwent confirmed the Anterior Cruciate Ligament and Meniscus tear injury in his knee.He will be going through surgery and then a treatment program that will be determined later.”

The Brazil forward picked up the injury while playing in his country’s 2-0 defeat to Uruguay in World Cup qualifying .

It also leaves Neymar facing a race against time to recover ahead of the Copa America in the USA next summer.
