The Minister of Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has revealed that the Bokoro Agenda 111 Hospital requires an additional GHC 140 million to become fully operational.

Speaking on the state of the facility, Hon. Akandoh explained that while significant progress has been made on the facility’s construction, financial constraints have delayed its completion and readiness for public use.

He stressed that without the necessary funds, the hospital cannot function at full capacity to provide essential healthcare services.

“The Bokoro Agenda 111 Hospital is a crucial project aimed at improving healthcare access, but to fully operationalize it, we need GHC 140 million,” he stated.

However, delays in funding have stalled several projects, raising concerns about the government’s ability to meet its health sector commitments.

Health Minister assured the public that efforts are underway to secure the necessary funds, emphasizing the government’s commitment to strengthening the healthcare system.

The Minister of Health, Hon Mintah Akandoh has called for stakeholder support to ensure the timely completion and operation of the hospital.
