Black Stars Have a Good Future – Kamaldeen Sulemana
Ghana international Kamaldeen Sulemana is optimistic about the future of the Black Stars, despite recent challenges.
After a tough 2024, the team has shown signs of improvement with back-to-back wins in their first two games of 2025.
The Black Stars recorded a 5-0 win against Chad and a 3-0 win against Madagascar in the Matchday 5 and 6 games of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers during the March international break. Sulemana believes these wins demonstrate the team’s potential.
Sulemana attributes the team’s improvement to the blend of young talent and experienced leadership.
“We are slowly getting better, and this international break showed the future of Ghana. We have very young ones coming in and doing well, while the older ones are leading the team with their experience and leadership,” he said.
The Black Stars will return to action in May for a four-nation tournament before taking on Chad and Mali in the Matchday 7 and 8 games of World Cup qualifiers in September.
Sulemana’s comments suggest that the team is building momentum and has a good foundation for future success.
