Black Starlets Embark on Talent Hunt in Greater Accra
The Black Starlets’ technical team, led by Coach Stephen Frimpong Manso, is set to kick off a talent hunt in the Greater Accra region.
The initiative aims to identify young players born after January 1, 2009, who possess exceptional skills and potential to represent the U17 National team.
The scouting exercise will take place in three locations:
Tema Sports Stadium, Tuesday, April 22, 2025
Madina Astro Turf, Wednesday, April 23, 2025
Carl Reindorf Park (Dansoman) Thursday, April 24, 2025
The screening process involves a rigorous selection exercise, with the goal of identifying top prospects for the Black Starlets’ pool of players. This initiative is part of the Ghana Football Association’s efforts to develop the next generation of football stars.
The Black Starlets coaching staff have been actively scouting talents across various regions, including Northern Ghana and the middle belt.
The Southern sector screening exercise has already visited Cape Coast, Koforidua, and Ho, with Greater Accra being the next stop.
