Black Satellites Claim Crucial 2-0 Victory Over Niger In U-20 WAFU B Cup
Ghana’s Black Satellites secured their first win in the U-20 WAFU B Cup of Nations with a solid 2-0 triumph over Niger in Togo.
Dreams FC Aziz Musibau broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute with a stunning long-range shot. Just ten minutes later, he struck again, capitalizing on a precise pass from Jerry Afriyie to double Ghana’s lead.
Despite Niger’s persistent attempts to find the net, Ghana’s defense held strong, ensuring a clean sheet and vital three points.
This victory puts the Satellites at four points ahead of their crucial final group match against hosts Togo on October 23.
The tournament also serves as a qualifier for the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, making every match critical for the team’s aspirations.
