Black Queens Coach Names Squad to Face England in December Friendly

Black Queens Head Coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has announced a 24-player squad for Ghana’s upcoming international friendly against England’s Lionesses on December 2, 2025, at St. Mary’s Stadium in Southampton.

 

The squad is a well-balanced mix of seasoned internationals and promising young talents, with defender Anasthesia Achiaa making a much-anticipated return to the national team. The headline inclusion is the maiden call-up for Benedicte Simon of Swiss giants Servette Geneve FC, who has earned her first opportunity on the international stage with her impressive club form.

 

Bjorkegren’s squad maintains continuity with several regulars retained across all areas of the pitch, ensuring stability as the team fine-tunes its tactical shape.
