Ghanaian Kumawood musician, Big Akwes has revealed that he used his money to campaign for the current Government of Ghana.
According to him, in 2016 he and some other people funded money to the NPP because they thought President Nana Addo was coming to turn things around.
He added that they were very influenced by the promises made by the then flag bearer of the NPP, Nana Addo because he used sugary arguments on them which got them to believe he was going to do what he promised.
Whilst speaking on Power Fm; “All of us are conscious that we voted for our president Nana Akufo-Addo for him to come and help us … In 2016, we provided for them in Kumasi, and I, gave out my money to support the NPP”.
So, you deceived us with your sweet words, see what you have done to us, we voted for you, and see what has happened to us but the same hands will decide this time.’’
