Bibiani Gold Stars head coach Michael Osei has been named as an assistant coach for the Black Meteors.
The Bibiani Gold Stars trainer will help coach Karim Zito in the technical department ahead of their U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The team is currently in the Ghanaian Soccer Centre of Excellence preparing for their upcoming games.
Coach Micheal Osei’s appointment is expected to be a great addition to the team following his vast experience in this coaching field.
He was a former trainer of Asante Kotoko, Liberty Professionals before joining Bibiani Gold Stars.
The next edition of the Total Energies U-23 Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Morocco.
Micheal Osei is a former Ghanaian professional footballer and coach who played as a midfielder and is currently the head coach of Bibiani Gold Stars.
He is well known for playing for Asante Kotoko, Sk Vorwarts Steyr in Austria and Mainz 05 in Germany.
He also had spells with other clubs in Venezuela, Turkey and lower-tier sides in Germany.
