Berekum Chelsea Narrowly Defeats Karela United

Berekum Chelsea secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Karela United in their Ghana Premier League Matchday 2 encounter at the Nana Agyemang Badu park .

Chelsea broke the deadlock early in the first half through striker Mezack Afriyie who drove pass the defenders and placed the ball at the back of the net. Karela United, despite pushing for an equalizer, could not break through the resilient Berekum Chelsea defense, which remained compact and disciplined throughout the match.

The win gave Berekum Chelsea their first victory of the 2024-25 season after drawing their first match against Vision FC and lies at 5th position with 4 points .
