Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani insists Solomon Agbasi’s absence from the Hohoe United win was a welfare decision, not a reflection of his form.
“I gave him a mental and physical break,” Dramani revealed on Asempa FM.
Agbasi’s impressive recent form has sparked debate over the No.1 jersey, but Dramani reaffirms Benjamin Asare as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper. Asare’s limited club action has raised concerns about his Black Stars prospects, especially with the 2026 World Cup approaching.
Dramani emphasizes player welfare and squad rotation, dismissing notions of internal rivalry. “Benjamin Asare is still regarded as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper,” he stressed.
