Ghana’s beach soccer team finished on a high with an emphatic 10-3 win against Tanzania in their last group match at the ongoing Beach Africa Nations Cup in Abidjan.
After a dissapointing 6-3 loss to pEgypt in their opening game the Black Sharks sufferred another set back in their second game. Morocco had their backs against the wall with a 5-2 win. Ahead of their last group match the team was expected to at least grab a win.
Against Tanzania, the Black Sharks run riot with great team performance which culminated in a 10-3 win. Despite the win Ghana will miss out on qualification to the next stage due to back to back defeat to Egypt and Morocco.
A game against the third place team in group B is on the cards for Ghana. They need to win to secure 5th position in the overrall standings.
