Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford is calling for a strong response after a 1-0 loss to Bechem United, extending the team’s tough run in the Ghana Premier League.
“It was a very tough game because both teams fought from their heart. We will take it like that because that is football… We will go home and prepare for the next match,” Hayford said.
The Lions have won just one of their last ten league games, putting them in a tricky spot. Hayford aims to turn things around against league leaders Asante Kotoko at home on January 31.
