Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford is gearing up for a tough clash against Asante Kotoko, acknowledging the Porcupine Warriors’ strength.
“It is going to be a very tough game,” Hayford said. “Kotoko are strong and back to their winning ways, but we’re preparing well to match them and aim for a positive result”.
Heart of Lions have struggled recently, winning just one of their last five games. A win against Kotoko would boost their title hopes, currently sitting 7th with 27 points. Kotoko, on the other hand, are second with 35 points, eight points behind leaders Medeama SC.
Kotoko’s recent form has been impressive, with two wins, two draws, and one loss in their last five games.
