The Ayawaso West Wuogon Cadres for NDC have initiated a cleanup exercise at Abelenkpe, a suburb within the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency. The group, led by its chairman, Mr. Tratse Edem Kobla, organized this activity to improve the local environment and create visibility for their presence in the constituency.
During a media briefing, Mr. Kobla emphasized that the cleanup was aimed at ensuring a cleaner environment while promoting their efforts to secure the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections.
He urged voters to support John Dramani Mahama, the NDC presidential candidate, who is number 8 on the ballot, and John Dumelo, the parliamentary candidate, who is number 2 on the ballot.
Mr. Alex Secsoafia Avorkpo, the group’s secretary, criticized the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) for failing to fulfill its promises to Ghanaians.
He called on residents of Abelenkpe and the entire Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency to vote for Mahama and Dumelo, believing they can deliver on their vision to benefit the country.
The cleanup exercise is not a one-off event but will continue every Saturday to improve the area’s sanitation.
