Ghanaian rapper Awal Mohammed has stated that he is focused on taking his music career to a higher level and is not willing to rush the process in pursuit of success.
Speaking on Ahotor Mmre with Obaapa Janeeon Ahotor FM 92.3, the rapper explained that he believes he still has enough time to achieve his musical ambitions and is therefore concentrating on working hard rather than putting pressure on himself.
“I still have more time to pursue my music career to a higher level, so I’m just working ,and I don’t want to rush things. I don’t believe in timing,” Awal said.
His comments suggest that the rapper is determined to develop his career at his own pace rather than measure his progress against the achievements of other musicians.
Awal first gained national attention through TV3’s Talented Kidz, where his impressive rap performances and admiration for SSarkodie helpedhim win the attention of music lovers. His talent eventually brought him into contact with Sarkodie, who supported his early musical journey and became an important influence on his career.
Despite the recognition he received at a young age, Awal has continued to pursue his musical ambitions while working to establish his own identity in Ghana’s competitive music industry.
His latest remarks highlight his belief in patience, consistency and hard work as he seeks to reach greater heights.
For Awal, success is not about rushing to achieve fame at a particular age or within a specific period. Instead, he appears focused on making steady progress and allowing his efforts to shape the future of his career.
The rapper’s comments also offer a message to emerging musicians who may feel pressured by the pace of the industry: building a lasting music career requires dedication, and success does not necessarily come according to a fixed schedule.
Awal remains committed to his musical journey, insisting that he has more time to grow and achieve his dreams.
