A non-governmental organization, YUNUS FOUNDATION has reechoed and pledged to offer scholarship packages to less privileged and needy but brilliant Students across the country in the field of education.
The pledge and unwavering commitment by the foundation became known during an event held to officially outdoor the think in Accra in July 2023.
It is believed that the foundation would be used as a special-purpose vehicle to inspire the youths in the country in their quest to climb the academic calendar with the support of the group in the emerging academic environment.
Patrons of the foundation noted that they desire to equip the less privileged and needy but brilliant Students with academic skills and knowledge through Teaching and learning in order to position them in the job market.
The West Africa Director for Yunu LD Foundation, Mr. Emmanuel Boamah in an exclusive interview with Ahotor (92.3)News said the foundation is on a rescue mission to assist the less endowed in the country primarily aimed at easing the financial burden and the difficulties parents and wards goes through to seek educational welfare for future development.
He emphasized that they are working on educational and social support modules as key components of the foundation.
He explained that the program will work alongside targeted caregivers and parents whose wards of school-going stages begin from Class Six(6), Junior to Senior Schools, and also stated that it does not matter if a prospective applicant attends a private or public school in the six regions of the country respectively.
Mr. Boamah reaffirm the commitment by the foundation to offer free support and scholarship to the public once they are notified about any of such request from child facilitators or guardians.
“If you are a parent and you are hearing this you contact the school your child is frequenting and suggest to them to get in touch with us and we will show them what it entails to be on the scheme ” Mr. Boamah Stressed!
The foundation is expected to leverage on digital innovation to harness skills and talent development to equip the youths to be self-sustained and alleviate poverty.
Emmanuel Boamah, the West Africa Director for the foundation told Onokwafo Yaw Asiedu of Ahotor News that, Guardians should be assured that all financial obligation is fully covered by the foundation.

Educational Social Support Initiative
10 schools per region
10 students per school (represented by parents)
Precondition: participants should possess a smartphone.
USDT 10 per head, to be circulated for 12 calendar months.
This cycle will continue until the ward completes his/her University degree or for as long as Yunus LD Foundation operates.
The funds are 100% provided by Yunus LD Foundation, and have access to the fund anytime they chose, but for as long as the parents follow the program, their ward will still be under the program.
The pilot starts with students in Class 6, and the scholarship program starts when the student gets to JHS 1, so those who will be selected this month, will have their app installed and start with the piloting, but they will start benefiting from the program when they ward starts JHS 1″
