AUDIO: Lordina Mahama Inaugurates Maternity and Children’s Ward, Pledges Support for Women and Children’s Empowerment

Madam Lordina Mahama, leader of the Lordina Foundation, recently outlined her foundation’s inspiring vision to uplift women and children across Ghana.

She shared that the foundation is dedicated to equipping women and children with the resources and support they need to thrive in every area of life.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony for the new Lordina Foundation Maternity and Children’s Ward in Bodom, located in the Nkoranza North Constituency, Madam Lordina emphasized the transformative potential of empowering women and children.

“The Lordina Foundation is committed to uplifting women and children in every facet of life—from health to education to economic opportunities. I am confident that when women and children are given the tools they need to succeed, our entire nation will benefit immensely,” she stated.

Madam Lordina also described the new maternity and children’s ward as a “labor of love,” driven by a profound commitment to the health and wellbeing of Ghana’s mothers and children.

“This beautiful facility is more than just a building; it represents our unwavering dedication to the health and future of women and children,” she expressed passionately.

She extended her heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in making this facility a reality, including the foundation’s sponsors, partners, and the community leaders who supported the project.

“I want to thank everyone who has contributed to this achievement—the Lordina Foundation team, our generous sponsors and partners, and Nananom for embracing and supporting this initiative.”

Madam Lordina further encouraged the community to take pride in and responsibility for the new facility, underscoring the importance of maintaining it so it can serve the people well for years to come.

“Let us work together to keep this facility well-maintained so it can continue to serve our people effectively,” she urged, expressing her hope that the ward will bring lasting benefits to Bodom and beyond.
