Dr Hassan Ayariga founder and leader of All people’s Congress has express personal reservations about the manner in which the Ghanaian economy is being managed under president Nana Addo And the New Patriotic Party ( NPP)
“I am very angry about this economy” he told Kofi Owusu on the breakfast show on Wednesday 02/03/2022
The former presidential candidate of the PNC, and currently leader of the APC, a party he founded bemoan the the deprivations in the country and observe the bad strategies being adopted by government Over The passage of the E Levy Policy.
“Is because over the years we have borrowed too much and we did not see the essence of the borrowing”
” we have paid taxes and we don’t have the roads, schools, the hospitals, we don’t have the markets”
“How sure are we that when we pay the levy it will be put into good use”
We are tired of their mismanagement”
Dr Ayariga fumed!
He said Ghanaians are dying for their country to be developed but the reason why the Policy has seen stiffer resistance by the masses, is premised on the mistrust by government appointees and their inability to turn the fortunes of the economy around.
