In the education sector, over 156,000 first-year students in public tertiary institutions reportedly benefited from government interventions during the 2025 academic year.
The administration has also intensified anti-corruption efforts, strengthening collaboration with the Office of the Special Prosecutor and implementing the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative to investigate and prosecute alleged corrupt officials.
President Mahama has described his leadership style as one guided by “heart and empathy,” aimed at rebuilding trust between government and citizens. The administration has further convened a National Economic Dialogue to engage key stakeholders in shaping Ghana’s economic recovery path.
Speaking on Ahotor FM’s Yepe Ahunu show, Mr. Koomson praised the President for consistently engaging industry players and organised labour on the way forward for the country.
He revealed that President Mahama has formally written to Organised Labour, inviting them to a meeting at the Presidency on March 17, 2026, as part of efforts to deepen consultation and collaboration.
