The Foreign Affairs Minister, Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botway has angrily told all old members of the passport office not to show up in the office again with effect from Monday 21st August, 2023.
According to her, those who have been there for more than one year have been replaced by new staff.
She said some inner persons are working with some unauthorized people popularly known as ‘goro boys’ and the charges and processes have been tempered.
“I am trying to bring some sanity to the passport office but, the blame is always on the foreign ministry which should not be so, I am not saying all of you are doing that but some of our staff are in collaboration with the outsiders in tarnishing the name of the passport office”
“All of you who have been here for more than one year please from Monday don’t come you have been replaced,” She said.
