Ato Forson’s Ambulance Trial: The NPP government is solely focused on imprisoning Ato Forson and nothing else – Abraham Koomson

Abraham Koomson, the Secretary General of the Ghana Federation of Labour (GFL), has spoken out against what he calls a cruel plan by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to prosecute Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson in the ongoing ambulance case. He believes this move should concern all Ghanaians who value unity and peace.

According to Mr. Koomson, the NPP government’s focus seems to be on punishing Ato Forson rather than recovering the funds for the country. He shared his concerns during an interview on Ahotor FM‘s ‘Yepe Ahunu‘ with host Nana Dogbe.

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) alleges that the Akufo-Addo government deliberately delayed clearing the ambulances involved in the case, which arrived at the port eight years ago, in order to prosecute Ato Forson.

Mr. Koomson cautioned that public officials who abuse their authority will face consequences from a higher power.
