The Chief of Assin Andoe, Nana Attah Banafo III, has commended NDC presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama for his dedication to development, calling him a true “champion of progress.”
According to Nana Banafo, John Mahama’s past leadership has always been focused on advancing infrastructure and community welfare across Ghana.
During Mr. Mahama’s recent #Mahama4Change2024 tour stop in Assin Andoe, Nana Banafo appealed to the NDC leader to bring similar development projects to the Assin area, particularly a modern market.
He cited Mahama’s achievements, such as the Kejetia Market in Kumasi and the Kotokuraba Market in Cape Coast, as examples of the infrastructure he hopes to see in his community.
The chief assured John Mahama that Assin Andoe has ample land available for any projects aimed at job creation and economic growth.
He promised full support in securing land for development projects, in exchange for efforts to provide employment opportunities for the area’s youth.
In response, John Mahama pledged that Assin Andoe would indeed benefit from the NDC’s Market Enhancement Program, which aims to modernize district markets across the country.
He also emphasized that his proposed “24-Hour Economy Policy” would stimulate job creation, helping to alleviate the high unemployment rate in the Assin area and nationwide.
Calling on Ghanaians for their support, Mr. Mahama urged voters to choose the NDC in the 2024 elections to guide Ghana back onto a path of sustainable development, warning that continued NPP leadership would only hinder the country’s progress.
