Asiedu Nketiah Concludes Three-Day Greater Accra Retail Campaign Tour

The National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has successfully concluded his three-day retail campaign tour in the Greater Accra Region.

The tour, which energized the party’s grassroots support, saw him visiting communities such as Tebu, Tetegu, Anyaa Market, Darkuman, and several others. At each stop, enthusiastic crowds of party faithful adorned in NDC-branded apparel welcomed him with cheers and excitement, reinforcing the party’s stronghold in the region.

Addressing the energized gatherings, popularly known as “General Mosquito,” Mr. Asiedu Nketiah urged constituents not to be swayed by any monetary inducements or vote-buying tactics from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). Instead, he encouraged them to vote massively for the NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, and all NDC parliamentary candidates in the upcoming elections.

He stressed the importance of unity within the party, cautioning against the “skirt and blouse” voting pattern where constituents vote for candidates from different parties for presidential and parliamentary elections. “We must stand as one family and vote overwhelmingly for both John Mahama and our parliamentary candidates to secure total victory for the NDC,” he said.

Declaring optimism about the party’s chances, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah remarked, “The NDC is on the verge of a resounding victory. Let us remain steadfast and focused as we head into the polls.”

The tour also served as a platform to highlight key policies and initiatives the NDC intends to implement if voted into power, with a particular emphasis on addressing economic hardships and improving infrastructure in the region.

With excitement and determination in the air, the NDC faithful pledged their support to deliver a decisive victory for the party in the upcoming elections.
