Asante Kotoko Warns Media and Supporters
Asante Kotoko has issued a stern warning to certain media outlets and supporters over alleged attacks on players and coaches disguised as analysis.
The club accuses these entities of pushing an agenda to destabilize the team.
In a statement signed by Communications Director Samuel Sarfo Duku, Asante Kotoko described the attacks as “calculated” and “dressed up as analysis,” aimed at sowing disunity and sabotaging the team’s hard work.
The Porcupine Warriors warned that they will not hesitate to take legal action against individuals or outlets engaging in defamation or unethical conduct. This move comes as the team prepares for a crucial match against Accra Lions.
Asante Kotoko also cautioned some of its supporters against behavior that could harm team morale. The club assured fans of its focus and determination to win the double, emphasizing that it will not tolerate attempts to destabilize the team.
Asante Kotoko currently tops the Ghana Premier League table, tied with Bibiani Gold Stars on 47 points. The team’s upcoming match against Accra Lions will be a significant test of their title ambitions.
