Asante Kotoko thump Adom FC in friendly ahead of Bibiani trip

Asante Kotoko thumped Adom FC 4-1 in a friendly match ahead of their crucial Ghana Premier League clash against Bibiani GoldStars.

The Porcupine Warriors, led by Coach Karim Zito, continued their pre-match preparation tradition with a convincing win on Thursday.

Patrick Asiedu opened the scoring for Asante Kotoko with a solid defensive display.

Sampson Eduku doubled the advantage, showcasing his skills on the field.

Samba O’niel and Kwame Opoku sealed the win with a late goal, demonstrating their teamwork and strategy.

Adom FC managed to pull one back, but it wasn’t enough to challenge the title contenders.

Asante Kotoko’s victory sets the stage for their upcoming match against second-place Bibiani GoldStars at Dun’s Park on Sunday. The two teams are separated by just two points, with Kotoko in third place and GoldStars in second.

Meanwhile, Kotoko trails league leaders Nations FC by three points with only three games left to play.

Beyond the league, Asante Kotoko has also secured a spot in the FA Cup final, where they’ll face Golden Kick FC.

This adds another layer of excitement and challenge for the Kumasi-based giants as they push for silverware.
