Asante Kotoko Sack Prosper Ogum Narteh Ahead of Super Clash Showdown- Reports

Reports in the local media suggest Asante Kotoko have parted ways with head coach, Prosper Ogum Narteh ahead of the Super Clash on May 2, following a management decision.

Per Ghana Sports Page, the Interim Management Committee (IMC) made the decision after the club’s 2-0 loss to Nations FC on Sunday on match day 28.

Pending an official announcement from the club, the manager expected to exit the club two seasons after returning for a second spell with the Porcupine Warriors.

Kotoko, who were in pole position in the title race, have dropped to fourth on the table after managing only two wins in their last nine games helping Bibiani Gold Stars top the table and sets themselves for a historic premier league victory.

They have drawn five and lost two in the process, with the two defeats coming consecutively.

The Premier League record holders will face Aduana Stars on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before meeting everlasting rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in Accra.
