The Porcupine Warriors’ pre-season tour in the European nation has been postponed, according to the club.
Management of Asante Kotoko have announced the postponement of the planned pre-season trip to Turkey scheduled for this month.
Asante Kotoko planned to leave the shores of the country last Sunday to Turkey for a two-week pre-season exercise ahead of the 2022/23 season’s campaign.
According to the club, the trip to Turkey has been postponed due to the difficulties in VISA acquisition.
The club’s official statement reads “Our planned trip to Turkey for the second phase of our pre-season which was originally scheduled for the 14th of August, 2022 has been postponed due to visa processing delays.”
Asante Kotoko will be hoping to excel in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League and also defend their Ghana Premier League title this season.
Asante Kotoko will begin their Premier League season’s campaign with newly-promoted side Nsoatreman FC next month.
