Asante Kotoko lost Presidential Cup to ASEC Nimosas of Cote d’Ivoire

Kumasi Asante Kotoko suffered a heavy defeat against ASEC Nimosas of Cote d’Ivoire in the maiden 2024 Presidential Cup.

Despite putting up a valiant effort, Asante Kotoko succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against their Ivorian opponents.

From the onset, both teams displayed intense energy and determination, with Asante Kotoko looking to make their mark in the game but ASEC Nimosas showed class and won by 2 :1 to crowned champions of the 2024 Presidential Cup.

Despite the defeat, Asante Kotoko showed glimpses of their potential and will look to regroup and learn from this experience as they continue their campaign in the Ghana Premier League.
