Dr Prosper Nartey Ogum has resigned from his post as head coach of Asante Kotoko with immediate effect.
The news emanating from the airwaves indicates that coach Ogum resigned yesterday after an emergency meeting with the management and board of the club.
The decision for Dr Ogum to resign as the Head Coach of Kotoko is yet to be known.
According to sources, Dr Prosper Nartey Ogum tendered his resignation letter a few hours ago after the meeting.
The Series of information which triggered the decision of Dr Ogum include power play.
He feels offended that, some key decisions were made without his consent.
Also, there is news that International club opportunities have opened for him.
And internal wranglings in Kotoko are all rumours surrounding his resignation.
This portal has also gathered that there were alleged machinations from Kotoko management to sack him ahead of the African matches.
One of the issues is that, for months, he and his technical team have not received a salary.
But, officially, Dr Nartey is yet to come out to confirm the news.
