The once red-hot goal poacher makes a return to the club for the second time after he made his mark with Kotoko in the 2020/21 season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in just 16 appearances, which earned him a move away to USM Alger and Olympique Khouribga.
He has penned down a two and half-year contract ending in 2027.
The player had been training with the group for the past recent weeks and has impressed the technical team led by coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
“Kwame is a player who has grown tremendously since his first spell here. His time in Algeria and Morocco has sharpened his skills and added to his experience. He’s a proven goal scorer and creator, and I’m confident he will bring a lot of quality to our squad,” Ogum to Kotoko media.
Asante Kotoko have struggled in front of goal all this season, scoring just 10 goals in 12 games and his addition will help the team heading to the end of the first half of the season.
He can potentially appear in Preview: Asante Kotoko host Hearts of Oak in Super Clash. this Sunday in Kumasi.
