Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito is targeting a domestic double, setting his sights on winning both the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup titles this season.
The Porcupine Warriors currently sit fifth on the league table with 35 points from 21 matches, eight points behind leaders Medeama SC ¹ ² ³.
This weekend, Kotoko will face Aduana FC in the FA Cup Round of 16 at the Baba Yara Stadium. Zito emphasized the importance of winning, stating, “Definitely, we have to win that game. We don’t have any excuse because my main objective is to win the league or the FA Cup—or even the double”.
The team will then host arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in the highly anticipated Matchday 22 Super Clash at the Baba Yara Stadium.
