Artiste’s performing at political rallies is just business – Keche Andrew

Keche Andrew, one half of the music duo Keche, recently emphasized the importance of understanding and accepting artistes who perform at political rallies.

In an interview with Kingdom FM, he highlighted that such performances are often essential for artistes’ livelihood and should be viewed as business decisions rather than political affiliations.

Keche Andrew pointed out that artistes rely on performances to support themselves and create quality music.

He urged people not to criticize artistes for performing at political events, emphasizing that everyone has their own source of income and that artistes should not be restricted from seizing opportunities to perform.

Highlighting the example of legendary musician Daddy Lumba, who has performed for different political parties, Keche Andrew expressed hope for a similar level of understanding among Ghanaians.

He advised fellow artistes to consider performing at political events if the financial compensation can positively impact their future and families.
