John Dramani Mahama, the Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is set to intensify his campaign efforts in the Greater Accra Region with a two-day tour scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
This #Mahama4Change2024 tour will take him through seven key constituencies, where he will engage with local communities to share his vision and the policies outlined in the NDC’s 2024 manifesto, “Resetting Ghana.”
Joseph Awuku, the NDC’s Ashaiman Communications Officer, confirmed the itinerary during an interview on Ahotor FM’s morning show with Citizen Kofi Owusu.
He announced that Mr. Mahama would be in the Ashaiman Constituency on Tuesday, August 27.
“Yes, it’s true that John Mahama will be here, and Ashaiman is eagerly awaiting his arrival. He will meet with traditional leaders, community stakeholders, the youth, women’s groups, traders, and various other key players in the informal sector,” Awuku said.
On the first day of the campaign, Mr. Mahama will visit the Ada, Sege, and Ashaiman constituencies, where he plans to engage directly with the people and discuss the NDC’s strategies to bring about positive change in Ghana.
The following day, his tour will continue in the Amasaman, Domeabra Obom, Trobu, and Anyaa Sowutoum constituencies.
Through these interactions, John Mahama aims to build momentum for his campaign by addressing the concerns of the people and outlining how the NDC plans to tackle the challenges facing the country.
This tour is part of a broader effort by Mr. Mahama and the NDC to connect with Ghanaians across the country and present their solutions for the nation’s economic recovery and social development.
