Abdul Manaf Umar (30) hailed from the Northern part of Ghana , is a distinguished Ghanaian footballer known for his skillful midfield play who plays for his current Ghana Premier League Club Nsoatreman FC.
Abdul Manaf Umar started his career with Accra Hearts of Oak junior side Auroras FC who play in the Ghana Division Two side but got promoted to the senior side to sign his first professional contract for Hearts of Oak under Kim Grant who was in charge of the club as the head coach in 2019 .
Abdul Manaf Umar signed a two year contract with Hearts of Oak and helped the team to win the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League trophy after playing 23 games, scoring 3 goals and the MTN-FA Cup of the same season. he was later declared surplus to requirement by the head coach Samuel Boadu in the second spell of his contract which he was unused.(NCC PRO – Kobbi Jones confirmed).
Abdul Manaf Umar later signed a season deal with Real Tamale United in the 2022-23 season and played 32 games ,scoring 6 goals ,making 4 assist. He also won the MTN-FA Cup top goal Scorer in that season.
In 2023-24 season Abdul Manaf Umar signed a seasoned contract with Nsoatreman FC. He continued his impressive form at Nsoatreman FC, helping the club to clinch another MTN FA Cup title. Known for his vision, creativity, and work ethic on the field, Manaf Umar has established himself as a key player in the domestic league, earning admiration from fans .
