Tiwa Savage has discussed the anxiety she felt during the online circulation of her leaked sex tape
Do you recall the incident when a popular Afrobeats musician claimed that she was being extorted over a leaked tape in October 2021? The Nigerian singer discussed this matter with New York-based Power 105.1 host Angie Martins during an interview.
According to Tiwa Savage, the tape was created while she was dating someone.
She claimed that the blackmailer sent a video to her manager, who later forwarded it to her.
A few weeks later, a video of her and her partner surfaced online in inappropriate poses after they failed to meet the demands of the blackmailer.
The singer behind the hit song ‘Kelekele Love’ spoke about an incident that occurred three years ago.
She shared that her main worry during that time was that her son Jamil would come across the video.
She also mentioned that she had hired an IT expert to remove the video from the internet.
“My biggest fear about my sex tape leaking was that my son might one day see it,” she said. “But I got in touch with an IT expert who hacked the video from the internet and everyone’s mobile device. Right now, you can’t find it anywhere. Even if you had it stored on your phone,” she said
