Political activist Nana Ntow Amerikyi has raised concerns about flaws within Ghana’s electoral system. According to Nana Ntow, politicians have become aware of these deficiencies and are exploiting them to their advantage.
During an appearance on Ahotor 92.3 FM‘s Saturday morning political show, “Yepe Ahunu,” Nana Ntow asserted that orchestrating the transportation of individuals to cast votes constitutes a criminal offense. Despite this, Nana Ntow criticized the Electoral Commission for its apparent indifference towards such activities.
He urged the Electoral Commission to exercise vigilance in their operations to ensure the forthcoming elections are conducted freely and fairly.
Nana Ntow expressed his belief that the incumbent party will resort to any means necessary to secure victory in the 2024 polls. Nevertheless, he emphasized the importance of the Electoral Commission maintaining impartiality.
