During March, Ghanaians celebrated Ghana Heritage Month, an annual event that honours their cultural heritage.
The festivities included traditional dances, music, food, dressing, and visits to historical landmarks.
As part of the celebration, Ahotor FM 92.3 organized a quiz competition testing listeners’ knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, and traditions.
Mrs. Gladys Adzo Yeke, a passionate pioneer from Valco Ghana, company in Tema, was one of the contestants.
The competition took place over three days, from March 25th to March 27th. Gladys advanced to the final round, competing against two other finalists.
She correctly answered all of her questions and demonstrated a remarkable understanding of Ghanaian heritage.
Gladys was declared the winner and received an Iron, Kettle, Cake Mixer, and GTP clothes as her prize today, 28th March 2024 in Ahotor Studios.
She expressed gratitude to Ahotor FM for their kindness and encouraged them to keep up the good work.
Her victory was a celebration of Ghana’s cultural pride and enduring spirit.
