Antoinette Pokua Poku-Mouhtiseb, the Ghanaian fashion designer and creative director of Poqua Poqu, was laid to rest yesterday. The funeral ceremony was held at the Lashibi Funeral Home on Monday, February 26, 2024. Colleagues, celebrities, industry insiders, politicians, and admirers gathered to pay their respects.
The late fashion icon passed away at the age of 42. She reportedly died at the Lister Hospital in Accra on Wednesday, February 14, due to complications during labor.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Mouhtiseb, and three children. Poqua Poqu, the fashion label, positions itself as an affordable luxury women’s fashion brand. Established in 2011, the label aims to provide multifunctional apparel for trendy, stylish, and sophisticated women.
