National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has called on the people in the Western North region not to trust the promises of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) party.
According to him, the NPP promised to develop the area after the creation of the region but failed to do so.
He said, President Akufo Addo has never demonstrated any interest of the development in the area and that is why no minister has been appointed from there.
Speaking at the launch of the party’s working committee in the region, Chairman General asked on why there will be development in the area whiles the president failed to choose even one of his ministers from there.
He called on the people to ask the president on why he has failed to fulfilled his promise to them after promising to deliver heaven during its creation.
According to him, they should rally behind the NDC and vote massively for the umbrella party because their development is rest assured when the NDC wins power.
