Ghanaian Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has explained why he dislikes radio personality Andy Dosty and insults him every chance he gets.
According to him, he considered Andy Dosty his godfather, but he stopped doing so when he realized that Andy Dosty did not deserve his respect.
He added that he and Andy Dosty were once close, and he even gave him gifts on several occasions. However, he claims that whenever Andy Dosty went on the air, he would try to paint him in a negative light before Ghanaians.
Shatta Wale also disclosed that he had started new businesses and had reached out to Andy Dosty to help promote them, but Andy never did.
Meanwhile, Andy would go on the radio and say negative things about him. Shatta Wale said that he had called Andy Dosty several times to ask him to stop painting him in a bad light, but he never listened.
Shatta Wale gave an example of how he had settled a misunderstanding with blogger Ameyaw Debrah.
He said that he and Ameyaw had their problems in the past, and he didn’t like the negative things Ameyaw was publishing about him. So he called Ameyaw and asked him to stop writing anything about him. Shatta Wale claimed that Ameyaw Debrah listened to him and stopped publishing negative articles about him.
”Ameyaw Debrah and I traveled to America and had a good time and settled our differences”.
”However, when Andy Dosty interviewed Ameyaw Debrah after we had settled our disagreement, Andy was compelling the blogger to take legal action against me.” he said
Shatta Wale was surprised that instead of trying to reconcile them, Andy Dosty would encourage Ameyaw Debrah to take legal action against him.
