Dr. Mahamudu Bamumia who doubles as the Vice President and the flag bearer of the National Patriotic Party(NPP) has promised to create a digital platform for Ghanaian artists if elected.
He said this during his inaugural address since assuming leader of the NPP at the University of Professional StudiesUPSA) in Accra on February 7, 2024.
“I will introduce other initiatives such as digital and streaming platforms for our artists to woe tourism and creative growth pole in Ghana,” he said.
He continued to make promises that included the rebranding of the Year of Return, beyond the return for the festive season.
He also spoke on the reduction of taxes on the creative industry.
