The Rastafari Council, Ghana is calling on the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to promptly address issues with Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso who some days ago announced that they are exiting ECOWAS.
The Rastafari Council believes in addressing any existing issues affecting African unity and taking urgent steps to foster unity for the greater good of African nations.
The Council emphasized the importance of ECOWAS and AU to swiftly engage in diplomatic dialogue to address any underlying concerns Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso may have.
In a statement signed by the President of the Rastafari Council, Ghana Ahuma Bosco Ocansey, the Council called on all parties to approach the issue with the supreme interest of the African nation at heart to work towards a peaceful resolution that will impact positively on succeeding generations.
