Traders and Widows at Kumasi Bantama is urging delegates in the Bantama constituency to reject the brother of Assin central member of Parliament, lawyer Ralph Agyapong who is contesting the incumbent MP Hon Asenso Boakye.
The Assin Central MP wants the delegates to vote for his brother Lawyer Ralph Agyapong, who he says, is the best candidate to retain the seat for the governing party.
Meanwhile Hon Kennedy Agyapong who is captured in a viral video revealed how the sitting MP, Asenso Boakye engaged in dodgy dealings while serving as a deputy chief of staff at the Jubilee House, the seat of government. He has also referred to him (Asenso Boakye) as a son of Konkote seller who doesn’t deserve to be an M.P.
His comment didn’t go well with these traders and Widows who thinks they struggle and sells Petty goods to Carter for their children.
“Is it a crime for Konkote seller to raise her child to become MP or president”, they fumed.
According to them, if Kennedy Agyapong’s think it’s a only wealthy people whose children can go higher to become somebody in future then he is lying.
They have also urged him to come out and apologize or else they will deal with him.
The primary is slated for 27 January 2024. It is the last internal election as the party gears up for the 2024 general elections.
