A Presidential leader for Movement for Change Alan Kyeremateng says his vision is to move beyond duopoly of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Citing China and Japan as two countries with a great transformational plan. He said this after meeting with all the civil society organizations in Accra.
The leader of the movement for change outlined his great transformational plan in five areas, which he calls the Economy cluster, fast track cluster, social service cluster, Environment and natural resources cluster and the governance cluster.
These clusters according to Alan, will greatly benefit the people of Ghana, if he is voted to power to enable him implement them.
“Government has imposed on itself the liability and responsibility of financing the construction of publictisim which is not sustainable.
We don’t even have the resources to do that. So the only option for us is to allow the private sector to lead”.
Some of the civil society applauded his plan and vision for the country but added, the things he mentioned are not new and urged him to have the will to implement them or walk the talk.
According to the civil societies ” When they say Alan’s five transformational plan are not new, does not mean there is nothing useful there, what they mean is repeating ideas and visions are very important and the challenge has always will be, what will be the will in getting things done.
What will set him apart from others will be how pragmatic he is, how honest he is, how believe in meritocracy crucially how well all these principles will guide him to lead the country.”
