Cecilia Marfo, a Ghanaian veteran gospel musician, will be launching her new album, “Pure Heart,” on November 3rd, 2023.
During an interview with Obaapa Janee on Ahotor FM in Accra, she revealed that the album will consist of a mix of new and old songs.
Cecilia Marfo has been a prominent figure in the gospel industry for many years. She is admired by many for the grace she displays during worship.
She has announced that her upcoming program will be spirit-filled and that the Holy Spirit will work in powerful ways, leading to numerous testimonies from those in attendance.
The album launch will take place at Liberty Assemblies of God in Abeka Lapaz on December 3rd, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
She has invited Gospel musicians in the likes of Dsp Kofi Sarpong,Grace Ashley, Ophlia Nyantyekye , Nicholas Omane Acheampong, Brother Sammy , Erico, Kweku Gyasi and others.
Cecilia Marfo added that most of the young gospel musicians are more talented than them, so they have to support them rather using their resources on things that doesn’t glorified God.
She encourages everyone to come to her launching and God will visit everyone that day.
Cecilia mentioned that she likes Black Sherif’s song ‘Soldier’ so much that she wishes to sing it herself. She promised to learn it and perform a worship version for us.
She won a lot of awards with this album including the Gospel Song of the Year, Gospel Album of the Year and Song Writer of the Year award, all in the prestigious Ghana Music Awards organized by Chatter House.
