Alexander Djiku makes injury return for Fenerbahce SK

Fenerbahce SK defender Alexander Djiku has expressed his readiness to be back on the field this weekend for his club after injury sustained in the Turkish Super Lig.

The 29-year-old Ghanaian international defender has one goal and one Team-Of-The-Week appearance to his name in eight games since joining the club.

In an interview with another platform, Ghana center-back Djiku emphasized that he believes he is fit to return to the pitch after he sustained an injury during their home match.

“I had an injury, but I think I will be ready for the match. We made it 16 out of 16, but every match in this league is difficult, every team does their best.Hatay is one of the undefeated teams. We want to continue the series by showing our own game. It will be a difficult match.”

Turkish top-flight hoping to make it nine wins out of nine matches so far this season in the league.

Alexander Djiku missed out of Ghana’s Black Stars two friendly matches in the United States of America against the Mexico and United States of America which both games ended in defeats .
